Healthy Life, Good Life

It’s me

I am Anung, a woman activist concerned with the poor quality of education in my country, and the resulting poor knowledge of young mothers and the rampant malnourishment among children, the low health awareness among Indonesians in general, which in turn has significantly reduced the productivity, creativity and work ability of the Indonesian people.

Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, the University of Indonesia in 1989 — with a thesis on “The Concept of Time in Shakespeare’s Sonnets” — , I have been active as a student activist in campus in 1984, and later continued to be involved with the works of the NGO world.

It is now 2010, and my daughter Dipa Ena dipa-juni-2007.jpg, has just turned 21, entering her 6th semester in Philosophy Department at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, the University of Indonesia.

My son, Imam Marco , is coming to 11 years old, and now in his fifth grade of elementary school. You may want to know how familiar he is with the Computer Program Paint by visiting his blog: http://imammarco.multiply.com

My husband, Edi Cahyono, is best known through his website: http://geocities.com/edicahy. However, Yahoo! has decided to close all its free websites. New website is underway.

Join us in a healthy life, both physically and psychologically!
